Travilla 1967 Part 2

In early 1967, Travilla was announced as the designer for the film version of Jacqueline Susann's Valley of the Dolls. with the task of designing a reported 120 costumes for the four leads, Travilla combined several pieces from his 1966 season with costume designs he then produced for his 1967 Fall/Winter Collection.

Sharon Tate modeled both film and fashions for the designer's retail line. Approximately 200 color images and negatives from that shoot sold for over $12,000 on eBay in 2024.
